The Program in Public Health at the University of California, Irvine seeks to recruit a full-time Professor (Assistant, Associate, or Full rank) in the area of global health. The Program is interested in candidates with diverse research interests, including assessments of global burden of disease and injury, infectious diseases, international epidemiology, disease modeling, vector-borne diseases, emerging transnational chronic diseases, global change and population health, and translational research. This is a full-time tenure-track appointment.

Successful candidates are expected to produce nationally recognized research, mentor MPH and PhD students, teach at the undergraduate and graduate level, obtain independent or collaborative research funding, and provide professional service to the program, the university, and the community. A doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, DrPH, or MD), university teaching and service experience, and research excellence in a relevant field are required.
