Lecturer with Potential for Security of Employment

The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine is seeking candidates to fill one position as Lecturer with Potential for Security of Employment in Accounting to begin as early as July 1, 2016, subject to budget approval. The Lecturer with Security of Employment series requires, in addition to excellent teaching and service, that the candidate makes outstanding and recognized contributions to the development of his or her specific discipline and/or of pedagogy. We will consider candidates in all accounting areas and preference may be given to those who have experience working as program directors of master of accounting programs and who have taught accounting courses at both the undergraduate and graduate (master of accounting and/or MBA) levels. We offer accounting courses during the day and also some in the evenings and/or Saturdays including summer.

QUALIFICATIONS:
We seek applicants with a commitment to excellence in teaching, research (academic, professional, and/or pedagogic), and service with a preference for applicants with (or near completion of) a Ph.D. in Accounting and with a CPA license. Salary will be commensurate with prior performance and experience.
