Position description

The University of California, Irvine is seeking a candidate with general gastroenterology experience with an emphasis in Inflammatory Bowel Disease to join our expanding academic practice at the Health Sciences Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor level.
Candidates will be joining an established clinical
IBD program which includes 3 gastroenterologists, 4 colorectal surgeons and research program,including clinical trials and translational work. The position incorporates clinical practice,teaching responsibilities including supervision of fellows and residents in the inpatient,outpatient and endoscopy center and research.

The UCI H.H. Chao Comprehensive Digestive Diseases Center under the leadership of Kenneth Chang, M.D., has a full scope of clinical services that include treatment in state of the art endoscopy center, GI oncology, pancreato-biliary diseases, inflammatory bowel diseases, G.I. motility and hepatology.

This position affords the opportunities for growth of IBD program as well as research.
Candidates must have a strong academic/research interest in IBD and must have or be eligible for a California Medical License. Candidates must also be board-certified Internal Medicine and Board-certified/board eligible in Gastroenterology.
