The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Irvine anticipates openings for Postdoctoral Scholars in the following fields: General Neurology, Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia, Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology, Movement Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology, Neuromuscular Disease, Neuro-Oncology, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Neuro-Otology, Clinical Neuropsychology, Pain Management and Stroke.
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree or equivalent by the start of the appointment and have a background in neurology/neuroscience related. Preference will be given to candidates who have recently obtained their doctoral degree.
Postdoctoral Scholars will conduct research under the general oversight of a faculty mentor and are expected to contribute to the academic community by enhancing the research and education programs of the University. Positions are dependent upon extramural funding and require a minimum appointment of one year. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Initial appointments are and renewal is based on availability of support. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
