Lecturer - Part-time (BME 110A)
Position description
The Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is currently accepting applications for a part-time Lecturer for the Fall quarter 2016 to teach an upper division course, BME 110A: Biomechanics I. Class covers introduction to statics, rigid bodies, analysis of structures, forces in beams and moments of inertia.
Course meets two days a week, Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.
Requirements: Candidates should have a Ph.D. or equivalent in Biomedical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. At least two years of college-level teaching experience is preferred.
Salary is approximately $5,730.89 for quarter (three months – October through December).
