Position description

Research Opportunities in Genetic Control of Mosquito-borne Diseases at the University of California, Irvine (UCI).

A number of research opportunities are available immediately for PhD or equivalent scientists to contribute to the development of novel genetic technologies for control of mosquito-borne diseases.

Seeking candidates with previous training in broad areas of insect molecular biology and genetics, parasitology or virology.

Please include a cover letter directed to Dr. Anthony A. James that includes a synopsis of previous research experience, specific interests in the on-going work, and the names of three persons willing to provide letters of recommendation.
