Visiting Scholar in Marketing Analytics

The Marketing Area of The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine announces a position in Marketing Analytics (i.e., quantitative marketing, with a customer analytics focus) to begin as early as July 1, 2017. This is a one-year renewable position. Qualified scholars pursuing own research program will be employed via a simultaneous researcher classification (payroll title: Specialist series). In addition, the position would involve teaching of four quarter-classes (over two quarters, with one quarter reserved for full time research) in marketing analytics and/or traditional marketing (payroll title: Lecturer). We are seeking individuals with active research programs in marketing that target top journals. The School is committed to research and scholarship with teaching responsibilities in Ph.D., MBA and Undergraduate Programs. A Ph.D. in marketing or relevant discipline completed by Summer 2017 is required. Salary in the range of $80,000 to $90,000 (and a research account) will be commensurate with prior performance and experience.

Assigned classes may be across all programs (undergraduate, graduate (MBA, MS) and doctoral) and may occur at night or on weekends, including summers. It is expected that the primary teaching responsibilities will be in the new Master of Science in Business Analytics program, in courses related to marketing analytics, social media analytics and digital marketing.
