Position description

Due to sectional growth, the Department of Radiological Sciences, University of California Irvine, is seeking qualified candidates in the Clinical X Professorial series (Clinician Researcher) in the subspecialty of Diagnostic Neuroradiology. The position includes clinical service and teaching of medical students, fellows, and residents. This new faculty position will be responsible for 90% clinical coverage. For the balance of the appointment, the incumbent will perform teaching duties and carry out research in the Section of Diagnostic Neuroradiology.

Requirements - The applicant must be fellowship trained in Diagnostic Neuroradiology and have a definite documented interest in teaching and research. Candidates must be board-certified in diagnostic radiology and be licensed in the State of California. When eligible, the applicant must obtain the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Neuroradiology offered by the American Board of Radiology.

The University of California, Irvine Medical Center is a 411-bed tertiary and quaternary care hospital with all residencies. UCIMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center in urban Orange County. There are collegial relationships with all services. UCI offers excellent salary and benefits with an incentive plan. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
