The UCI Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is anticipating openings in the Specialist Series in the Laboratory for Fluorescence Dynamics under the direction of Professor Enrico Gratton and the Digman Laboratory under the direction of Professor Michelle Digman.
Requirements: Seeking qualified candidates with experience in the focus research areas of biomedical imaging techniques to understand fundamental questions related to cell migration in 3-D microenvironments, including tumor cell migration, live imaging of neurons and biomedical computation/modeling and in the area of microscopy imaging instrument development. These positions require a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, biophysics, biochemistry, or biology with expertise in neuron and intra-vital imaging and experience in the focus research areas listed above.
This is an ongoing recruitment and positions are dependent upon availability of extramural funding. Initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on job performance and availability of support. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience.
