The UCI Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is currently accepting applications for 1 to 2 Postdoctoral Scholars to join the laboratory of Professor Chang C. Liu. Individuals will carry out projects aimed at designing and applying specialized
genetic systems for rapid mutation, directed evolution, and continuous cellular barcoding. Go to

Requirements: Research experience in experimental synthetic biology, molecular biology, chemical biology, and/or cell biology is preferred, but any exceptionally creative and driven scientist interested will be thoroughly considered. This position requires a Ph.D. in biology, chemistry or related discipline is required. Note: Total duration of an individual’s postdoctoral service may not exceed five years, including postdoctoral service at other institutions.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience.
