The Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is currently accepting applications for 1 to 2 Jr. Specialists to join the laboratory of Professor Chang C. Liu. The successful candidate will work with a postdoctoral fellow and Prof. Liu to carry out a synthetic biology project in mammalian cells. Individuals with lab experience in molecular and cellular biology are preferred, but any individual who is organized, learns quickly, takes instruction well, communicates well, and reliably sees things to completion will be seriously considered.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, bioengineering, or related field. Salary starts at $18.26 an hour.
