Position description

The Department of East Asian Languages & Literatures at the University of California, Irvine seeks applicants for a 37.5% position of Lecturer to teach one course in the Winter 2018 quarter of the academic year 2017-2018. The department seek applicants who can teach a 10-week upper-division course in Japanese literature, film, popular culture, visual studies, religion or other field, depending on their area of expertise.

Winter quarter service period is 1/3/2018 - 3/23/2018

Minimum requirement: MA or Ph.D. in the field of Japanese Studies or other related fields.

Salary: Lecturer base salary ($6,675.25 per course).
