Associate Professor of Education

The School of Education at the University of California, Irvine is seeking to fill an Associate Professor position in educational sciences. We invite applicants with outstanding research trajectories in the wide range of disciplines related to education and who come from diverse epistemological and methodological perspectives. Though applicants in any subfield of education are welcome, we are especially interested in those with expertise in educational policy, higher education, digital learning/educational technology, learning across the lifespan in formal and informal settings, and/or international education. The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to our graduate and undergraduate programs, and particularly to our Ph.D. in Education program, which offers specializations in Language, Literacy, and Technology; Educational Policy and Social Context; and Learning, Teaching, Cognition and Development; and to our undergraduate major in Education Sciences.

Successful candidates must possess a Ph.D. (or equivalent) and have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching.
