The University of California, Irvine (UCI) Department of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics and Department of Medicine (Division of Infectious Diseases) invite applications for a full-time faculty position. The academic appointment will be at the Associate Professor or Professor level in the Line (tenured) series, which confers membership in the UCI Academic Senate. This program will also leverage existing resources and strengths of UCI Health, the School of Medicine, the Ayala School of Biological Sciences and partners across the UCI campus, including the Center for Virus Research, the Institute for Immunology, the Cancer Research Institute, and the Institute for Clinical and Translational Science. In addition, candidates will be expected to support institutional and departmental teaching and mentoring missions for graduate students, medical students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and expectations. The search committee will begin reviewing applications on May 1, 2018.
