Position description

The Division of Basic and Clinical Immunology, Department of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine seeks a candidate, board-eligible/certified in Allergy/Immunology and eligible for California licensure to be appointed at the Health Sciences Clinical Series. The successful candidate will participate in Allergy and Immunodeficiency Clinics. She/he will be actively involved in the teaching of fellows and faculty, and in clinical research protocols. Preference will be given to candidates with third year fellowship experience. Those interested in research will be provided with protected time. Division of Basic and Clinical Immunology has an ACGME-accredited AI program with three clinical fellows. There is a primary immunodeficiency program, including Jeffrey Model Diagnostic Center of Primary Immunodeficiencies, with more than 500 patients. There is a strong basic and translational research in the area of dendritic cell Biology, B cell biology, regulatory T cells, and genetic mutations in primary immunodeficiencies.
