ORTHOPAEDIC ONCOLOGY SURGEON – OPEN RANKS
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking an energetic and creative academic board eligible/certified orthopaedic faculty members with in specialization in Orthopaedic Oncology for an appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor rank in the non-Senate, non-tenure track Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. Applicant should have specialty training experience that includes adult oncology, trauma related extremities, degenerative diseases, and reconstruction. The successful candidates must hold a M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree(s) and be eligible for California Licensure. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will be expected to take part in the teaching of orthopaedic residents and medical students, demonstrate professional competency and activity and perform University and public service. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to cover trauma call. We deliver clinical services at the UCI Medical Center in Orange and The Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center in Costa Mesa. The successful candidate should have a strong commitment to patient care and resident education, and an interest clinical research.
