The Center for Embedded Systems and Cyber-Physical Systems (CECS) at the UC Irvine anticipates the availability of a postdoctoral scholar-employee position. This position will be working on the project, "Conquering MPSoC Complexity with Principles of a Self-Aware Information Processing Factory". The objective is to develop and evaluate hardware-assisted runtime verification models, architectures and tools. The successful candidate is expected to be familiar with hardware-assisted runtime verification formalism, tools and methods, machine-learning algorithms, specification mining methods and applications, and have experience working with with FPGA tools and multiprocessor simulators such as GEM5.
Requirement: Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or a closely related discipline, from an accredited university.
Salary: Salary is commensurate with training and experience. The initial appointment will be for 12 months and renewal of the appointment will be contingent upon the availability of the adequate funding and performance.
