The UC Irvine School of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine and the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences, Department of Informatics are seeking applicants for a split faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Professor Series (Tenure-Track).
Qualified candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree or equivalent. Interested candidates should have demonstrated capabilities for substantial research, excellent teaching, and professional service. The ideal candidate’s research would be focused on developing prediction models on disease outbreaks, bringing together research in areas of Emergency Medicine, Public Health, Informatics, and Computer Science/Engineering, and using big data and machine learning/data mining techniques. The incumbent will be expected to perform research and teaching, as well as university and external service.

Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
