Due to research growth, the Department of Radiological Sciences, University of California Irvine, is seeking a qualified candidate for an Assistant Professor In Residence in the subspecialty of Diagnostic Neuroradiology. The position will be responsible for overseeing the clinical research members as well as assist with technical members of the team. The position includes clinical service and teaching of medical students, fellows, and residents. This faculty position will be responsible for 20% clinical coverage. For the balance of the appointment, the incumbent will perform teaching duties and also carry out research in the Section of Diagnostic Neuroradiology.

Requirements - The applicant must be fellowship trained in Diagnostic Neuroradiology and have a definite documented interest in teaching and research. The candidate must demonstrate a proven publication history and a track record of receiving grant funding. Candidates must be board-certified in diagnostic radiology and be licensed in the State of California.

The University of California, Irvine Medical Center is a 411-bed tertiary and quaternary care hospital with all residencies. UCIMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center in urban Orange County. There are collegial relationships with all services. UCI offers excellent salary and benefits with an incentive plan. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
