UC IRVINE SCHOOL OF MEDICINE


FAMILY MEDICINE. The University of California, Irvine (UCI), Department of Family Medicine has openings for board-certified/eligible family physicians to join the UCI faculty in the Health Sciences Clinical Series at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level. This on-going recruitment is for clinicians in an ambulatory practice. We are seeking qualified individuals who are excellent clinicians with a strong commitment to medical education, which will include teaching in the UCI School of Medicine education courses and precepting medical students in clinic, as well as participating in the Department of Family Medicine residency program education.

DUTIES: Direct patient care, inpatient service coverage, residency teaching, medical student teaching.

DESIRED SKILLS: OB/Gyn skills, integrative medicine training, sports medicine training, leadership experience. Proficiency in Spanish, Vietnamese, or Korean. Interest in scholarly activities.

REQUIREMENTS: American Board of Family Medicine certification or eligibility, excellent clinical skills, interest in clinical teaching, eligibility for UCI Medical Center medical staff privileges, and proven leadership skills.

Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience.
