Studio Teacher, Jazz Piano

Seeking an instructor in jazz piano during the Fall Quarter of 2018. Basic qualifications include
at minimum 5-years of one-on-one studio or private instruction in jazz piano, a Bachelor's degree in Music and professional experience. Preferred qualifications include mastery of post-WWII modern jazz piano and its repertoire (especially in the bop and post-bop idioms), and a visible and significant record of performances and/or recordings as a jazz pianist; Master’s degree in Music. Duties of the instructor include (but are not limited to) giving individual 50-minute lessons per week for ten weeks (Sept. 26 - Dec. 2). Instruction is at the university undergraduate level for jazz piano majors.
