HEALTH SCIENCES CLINICAL PROFESSOR SERIES – OPEN RANKS
TRAUMA ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEON

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center, is seeking energetic and creative academic board eligible/certified trauma orthopaedic surgeons for all ranks in the non-tenure track Health Sciences Clinical Professor series (Assistant, Associate, and/or Full Professor levels). The successful candidate must hold an MD or MD/Ph.D. degree(s) and be eligible for California Medical Licensure. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will be expected to take part in the teaching of orthopaedic residents and medical students, demonstrate professional competency and activity and perform University and public service. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to cover all trauma call related injuries. We deliver clinical services at the UCI Medical Center in Orange and The Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center in Costa Mesa. The successful candidate should have a strong commitment to patient care and resident education, and an interest clinical research.
