Postdoctoral Scholar - Department of Psychological Science
Position description
The Department of Psychological Science at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a non-tenure track appointment as a Postdoctoral Scholar. The initial position will be for a one-year period. The position is dependent on grant funding and may be renewed annually.
Candidates are sought to work on a study of large-scale community traumas (e.g., natural disasters) and their aftermath. A Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field is required. Prior work in disaster mental health is highly recommended. Previous experience managing large datasets is required. Expertise in multi-level modeling, weighting population-based samples from complex longitudinal surveys, and experience with STATA are preferred.
