Lecturer - Department of Art History
Position description
The Department of Art History at the University of California Irvine seeks applications for a part-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer to teach one upper-division undergraduate lecture class on Modern or Contemporary Art History. Course proposals with a focus on Photography, Global, Latin American, or Asian art would be welcome. The service dates for this appointment are Spring Quarter: March 27, 2019 to June 14, 2019. The current salary rate per course is $6,751.02.
Requirements – Ph.D. in Art History or a related field; demonstrated teaching experience in this field at the university level. Current Ph.D. candidates must have their degree conferred by the beginning of instruction on March 27, 2019 to be eligible for employment.
