SCENE DESIGN LECTURER SEARCH

CLAIRE TREVOR SCHOOL OF THE ARTS, DEPARTMENT OF DRAMA
The Department of Drama is establishing a search of qualified applicants for a position as part-time lecturer for Spring Quarter 2019 in the curriculum area of Scene Design.
The department seeks applicants to teach a graduate level class in theme park/event design. An MFA, or commensurate experience, in Drama/Theater Arts is required. Compensation for the quarter will be approximately $6k total and is non-negotiable.
Candidates for this position must have strong professional credits in scene design and a strong commitment to teaching, training, and working in a university environment. Candidates must demonstrate a pedagogical and professional profile that is compatible with distinguished graduate training at a major research university. Candidates should show a demonstrated ability and commitment to work effectively with a diverse student population.
