Faculty Scholar in Organization and Management

The Organization and Management Area of The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine announces a position in Organization Behavior (OB) or Organization Theory (OT) to begin as early as July 1, 2019. This is a one-year position, renewable upon performance assessment and area need. To qualify, scholars must be pursuing their own academic research program. The position would also involve teaching four 10-week classes (or equivalent) in organization theory or organizational behavior. Courses will be taught over two quarters, with one quarter reserved for full-time research. Assigned classes may be across programs (e.g., undergraduate, MBA, and doctoral) and may occur at night or on weekends. Faculty Scholars may be asked to develop an on-line or hybrid course consistent with the School's objectives and teaching needs.

We are seeking individuals with active research programs in OB or OT that target top academic journals. The School is committed to research and scholarship with teaching responsibilities in Ph.D., MBA and Undergraduate Programs. A Ph.D. in management, psychology, sociology, or relevant discipline completed by Summer 2019 is required. Salary is approximately $83,000 annually.
