Jr. Specialist - Biomolecular and Genetic Engineering
Position description
The UCI Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is currently accepting applications for a Jr. Specialist position in the laboratory of Professor Chang C. Liu (www.liulab.com). The successful applicant will work with a postdoctoral fellow and Prof. Liu to carry out experiments aimed at achieving genetic systems for rapid evolution and mutational barcoding.
Requirements: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, bioengineering, or related field. Individuals with lab experience in molecular and cellular biology are preferred, but any individual who is organized, learns fast, takes instruction well, communicates well, and reliably sees things to completion will be seriously considered.
