Assistant Professor, Tenure-Track or Associate Professor, Tenured
Position description
The Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases is seeking candidates for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position with expertise and experience in clinical epidemiology and infection prevention.
This is a senate eligible 0.5 FTE faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, and 0.5 in the Assistant or Associate Professor In Residence series.
Applicants must hold an MD, MD/MPH degree(s) and basic or translational research interests in infection prevention and hospital epidemiology. This position will have up to 75% time allotted to research. Candidates must have current federal funding. Research space will be available on the UC Irvine campus, as are multiple collaborative opportunities with clinicians and scientists in a wide variety of disciplines.
