Position description

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for the position of tenure-track Assistant Professor in Theoretical Particle Physics with an expected start date of July 1, 2020. We welcome applications from candidates across all areas of Theoretical Particle Physics. Preference will be given to scholars who have demonstrated excellence, originality, and productivity in research and have shown promise in teaching.

The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Physics, and are expected to establish a dynamic research program and participate effectively in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Salary is commensurate with qualifications, training, and experience.
