Position description

The Department of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine, University of California, Irvine is anticipating openings for physicians in its various divisions. Appointment will be made in one of the following academic series:

Titles in the Professor of Clinical X Series are academically qualified individuals whose predominant responsibilities are in teaching and clinical service, and who also engage in creative activities.
Titles in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series are faculty who make substantial contributions to the University through excellence in teaching, clinical expertise, scholarly or creative achievement, and engagement in service.

Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.

Adolescent Medicine * Genetics/Metabolic Disorders * Pediatric Neurology * Allergy/Immunology * Hematology/Oncology * Child/Adolescent Psychiatry * Cardiology * Infectious Diseases * Pulmonary * Child Development Center * Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine * Pediatric Surgery * Endocrinology * Nephrology * Pediatric Urology *

Requirements include: M.D. or Ph.D. and/or equivalent license appropriate to the position(s). Board Certification or Eligibility within specialty is also required. Interest in teaching is essential. The applicant must have demonstrated capabilities for teaching.
