Position description

Postdoctoral scholar position is available in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering. The position is a part of the Autonomous and Intelligent Embedded & Cyber-Physical Systems (AICPS) Lab. More information can be found here: https://aicps.eng.uci.edu. The research is in the general area of cross-layer and cross-domain security issues of the embedded and cyber-physical systems (including IoT systems), mobile devices, machine learning, and hardware/software/physics co-design methods for the low power and low energy edge AI systems (Machine Learning on the edge). Successful candidates will have a strong publication record in one or more of the above areas, will be expected to work within an inter-disciplinary team, and will have the opportunity to interact with industry and/or other institutes. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience: from $53,460 to $64,008.00. Applicants are expected to have a doctoral degree, at the time of hire, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university.
