POSTDOCTORAL SCHOLAR SERIES – Open Positions – Informatics Department

The Department of Informatics in the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences at UC Irvine anticipates openings for non-tenured appointments in the Postdoctoral Scholar Series. Candidates with a compelling research portfolio in an area related to Informatics are preferred. Appointment as a Postdoctoral Scholar requires a doctoral degree (e.g., Ph.D., M.D.) or the foreign equivalent. Applicants must have a proven track record of research. Positions are dependent on extramural funding and research contracts of individual Principal Investigators.

The total duration of an individual’s postdoctoral service may not exceed five years, including postdoctoral service at other institutions. Salary will be commensurate with degree and experience. Initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on availability of support and need.
