Adjunct Professor Series (Pool Ad, Open Ranks)
Position description
The Department of Family Medicine at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine anticipates openings in the Adjunct Professor Series at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank.
Duties: Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in professional competency, teaching, research and/or creative work, and provide university and public service.
Requirements: Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent from an accredited institution with appropriate research and scholarship experience. Candidates must demonstrate professional competence and leadership ability, and must own teaching experience from a research institution of exceptional quality. Candidates should have a background in directing the research and professional training activities of students.
Positions are dependent upon funding and need. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on availability of support.
