Position overview

Salary range: The salary range for this position is $258,000-$310,000. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. See Professor and Professor of Teaching (LSOE) Series — Specialized Health Science Scales — Health Sciences Compensation Plan. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position description

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology. Fellows graduating in 2024 are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities will include a clinical practice of the full range of gynecologic cancer surgery, chemotherapy, and ambulatory practice; supervision and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows; participation in and mentorship of trainees in research activities (determined by the individual faculty members interest and expertise); as well as other general divisional and departmental services.

Candidates must possess an M.D. degree, California medical license (at time of start date), American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology eligible or certified, and successful completion of sub-specialty training in Gynecologic Oncology with subsequent Specialty Board candidacy or certification.
