Position: Health Sciences Clinical Instructor – Cardiovascular & Thoracic Imaging Fellowship

We are currently accepting applications for cardiothoracic imaging fellowship position in the Department of Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, for the academic year 2025-2026.

This fellowship provides comprehensive training in cardiothoracic imaging using radiography, CT, CTA, MRI, and MRA. The fellow has the opportunity to learn advanced cardiovascular imaging, coronary CTA, pulmonary vein mapping, TAVR and Watchman device planning CTA and “triple rule out”. All aspects of thoracic imaging are also covered, including oncologic imaging as well as HRCT. The interested fellow will also have the opportunity to perform interventional procedures, including lung or mediastinal biopsy, chest tube placement, or tumor ablation under the supervision of the interventional radiology division. The department is equipped with state of the art clinical CT and MRI scanners.  CT (256-slice, dual energy) and MRI (1.5 and 3T) scanners are available in the department for clinical work. Qualified candidates must be either ABR board-eligible or board-certified and must be able to obtain a full and unrestricted California medical license. Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

-Currently in or completed a four year Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program
-M.D. or D.O. degree
-American Board of Radiology certified or eligible
