Position description
Postdoctoral Scholar Position:
The Hochbaum Lab in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of California, Irvine is seeking applications for a postdoctoral scholar in the field of bioinorganic chemistry and bioelectrochemistry for a project studying the biochemical and charge transport properties of cytochrome polymers. Ideal applicants will have experience in protein purification and electrochemistry. This position requires a Ph.D. in a relevant field of biochemistry, structural biology, chemistry or engineering.
This is an ongoing recruitment and this position is dependent upon availability of extramural funding. Initial appointments are short term (2 years). Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience.
