Position description
The Department of Psychological Science anticipates openings for Lecturers during fall quarter 2024, winter quarter 2025, and spring quarter 2025. These appointments will be made as the need arises to cover specific topics in the areas of developmental, social, personality, health, biological, clinical, cultural, community, environmental, and ecological psychology, as well as in affective science, psychology and law, research methods, and statistics. Appointments will generally be for one quarter, but can be made for up to two or three quarters. The salary is commensurate with experience, at varying percentages of time depending on the course(s) assigned.
The Department of Psychological Science at UCI offers exciting and innovative programs of study at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our faculty members are prominent scholars whose specialties include developmental, social, personality, health, biological, clinical, cultural, community, environmental, and ecological psychology, as well as affective science and psychology and law. The faculty are united by an overarching interest in understanding the origins of human behavior as it develops across the life course and in diverse sociocultural contexts. The faculty also share a strong commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship and to research that has the potential for application to important societal problems.

Requirements – Master's degree with a preferred Ph.D/doctoral degree in psychology or a related field
