Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Care
Specialist Series
The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Care, University of California Irvine Health System, anticipates openings in the Specialist Series (Junior, Assistant, Associate, and Full Specialist).
The ideal candidate should be self-driven and motivated. This is an ongoing recruitment. Rank will be determined by qualifications and experience. Renewal is based on availability of extramural funding.
- Junior Specialists - Should possess a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or equivalent research experience.
- Assistant Specialists - Should possess expertise consistent with 4-6 years of training and/or experience. Should possess a Master's degree, or possession of a relevant baccalaureate degree plus 3+ yrs. of experience.
- Associate Specialists - Should possess a master’s degree (or equivalent degree) or 5-10 yrs. of experience.
- Specialists - Should possess a terminal degree (PhD/MD) (or equivalent degree) or 10+ yrs. of experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must possess a BA/BS, Masters, PhD or MD/PhD degree by the proposed start date.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Evidence of specialized research skills and approaches of past research productivity preferred.

Qualifications
