Position description
The University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, Department of Plastic Surgery is now accepting applications from skilled physician educators who are passionate about advancing clinical care, education and research within a clinical/academic setting. Positions are anticipated in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series, at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D., board certification or board eligibility in Plastic Surgery, and a California Medical License/ California Medical License eligibility. The ability to obtain UCIMC staff credentials is also required.
The incumbent will be expected to teach fellows, residents, medical students and other academic learners, provide quality patient care, collaborate on research and/or creative works and perform university and public service. Demonstrated evidence of capabilities for excellent teaching and creative works suitable for the series is expected for appointment to this series.

Positions are dependent upon funding. Rank and salary will be commensurate with training, qualifications, and experience.

Qualifications
M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. from an accredited institution with appropriate training and experience, postgraduate clinical training, and eligibility to sit for the American Board of Plastic Surgery. CA Medical license required.
