Position description
The UCI Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is anticipating openings of postdoctoral scholar positions (Levels L0-L5) in the area of tissue engineering for the 2024-25 academic year.
Seeking qualified candidates with experience in biomolecular and cellular engineering related to the following:
Musculoskeletal system
Cardiovascular engineering
Immunoengineering
Biomaterials
Neuroengineering
Urinary and gastrointestinal engineering
Spatial cell biology
These positions require a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or biology and experience in the focus research area(s) listed above.
This is an ongoing recruitment and positions are dependent upon availability of extramural funding. Initial appointments are for a two-year period and renewal is based on job performance and availability of support. Note: Total duration of an individual’s postdoctoral service may not exceed five years, including postdoctoral service at other institutions.
