Position description
We are currently accepting applications for a fellowship position in the Department of Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, for the academic year 2026-2027.
A one-year fellowship is offered and based at UC Irvine Medical Center and will have the benefits and privileges of this position through the University of California, Irvine. Training will include both screening and diagnostic interpretation as well as breast MRI and interventional procedures, including ultrasound, stereotactic, and MRI guided biopsies.

We believe that we provide an optimal combination of study volume, procedure volume, experience with protocoling, and to produce very knowledgeable, balanced radiologists, with cutting edge knowledge of their subspecialties.
The University of California, Irvine Medical Center is a 411-bed tertiary and quaternary care hospital with all residences. UCIMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center in urban Orange County. There are collegial relationships with all services. UCI offers excellent salary and benefits with an incentive plan. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Orange County is world renowned for its natural beauty, perfect year-round climate, gorgeous locales on the Pacific Ocean and incomparable recreational opportunities. Qualifications include having an MD or DO degree and being American Board of Radiology certified or eligible as well as being currently in or completed a four year Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program. Successful applicants will be Health Sciences Clinical Instructors in the School of Medicine and will actively participate in the teaching of UC Irvine residents and medical students, as well as participate in several interdisciplinary conferences.
