50/50 Professor/Professor In-Residence in Surgery

Position overview

Salary range: Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation can range from $378,144-$515,450. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position description

UCI invites applications for a full-time position in the Department of Surgery at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, within the Division of Surgical Oncology. This opening will be 50/50 Professor/Professor In-Residence.

  1. Applicants must have an M.D./Ph.D or equivalent with board certification or eligibility in relevant specialty we can put surgical oncology here, along with eligibility to obtain a California DEA license and a California Medical license.
  2. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a research program related to surgical oncology, have experience delivering patient care within an academic clinical setting, and have demonstrated experience in teaching residents and medical students.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent, with board certification or eligibility in specialty are required in the relevant specialty.
Eligible to obtain a California DEA license and a California Medical License.
