Position description

Temporary Choral Conductor part-time Lecturer position, Chamber Singers

The Department of Music seeks a choral conductor to teach a choral ensemble course, Chamber Singers, in spring quarter 2026. Qualifications include previous teaching experience as a choral conductor at the university level, and an appropriate educational degree and professional experience. Duties of the instructor include teaching a one quarter (11 week) choral ensemble performance course, including both music and non-music majors, with two rehearsals per week, and managing all aspects of the course delivery and instruction.
