Position description

The Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice, in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, is seeking a part-time Lecturer to teach its Health Policy and Pharmacoeconomics course in Spring 2026 (March 24 – June 12). This course introduces PharmD students to the organization, financing, and delivery of health care services in the U.S. The relationship of providers, patients, payers, etc., are analyzed. Management and research principles utilized to manage drug therapy are introduced.

Final candidate should have an appropriate Doctoral degree (PharmD, MD and/or PhD) and experience teaching this topic in a higher education environment.
