Position description

Dr. Hoshi’s laboratory at the University of California, Irvine, is seeking a highly motivated individual for a part-time Junior Specialist position to conduct molecular and behavioral experiments focused on controlling pathogenic neuronal overexcitation mediated by Kv7 channels using genetic and pharmacological approaches.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong background in behavioral studies and molecular biology.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and conducting experiments in these areas.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
