Position description

The Department of Pediatrics, School of Medicine, at the University of California, Irvine, anticipates potential openings for appointments in the Project Scientist series.

The ideal candidate should be self-driven and motivated with research experience in specialization strongly preferred. Rank will determined based on qualifications and experience.

Pulmonary * Child Development Center
Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine * Pediatric Surgery
Endocrinology * Nephrology
Pediatric Urology * General Pediatrics
Exercise Medicine

Position may be full or part-time and are dependent on extramural funding and research contract of individual Principal Investigators. Initial appointment are typically one year and renewal are based on availability of support and need.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

The candidate for a title in this series must have earned a doctorate, or its equivalent. (PhD or MD/PhD)
