Position description
The University of California Irvine Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery is seeking a Facial Plastics & Reconstructive Surgeon to join our expanding department as an Assistant, Associate or Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. Academic rank and salary will be determined based on training and experience.
Applicants should be board-certified or board-eligible in otolaryngology and be eligible to apply for a California medical license. Applicants must have undergone fellowship training via a formal AAFPRS program along with ABFPRS certification or eligibility. We are currently a department of 16 clinical faculty, 4 basic scientists, and 4 audiologists, with one full-time faculty in the division of Facial Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery. UCI Health is based in Orange County, California with multiple clinical practice sites.
We provide comprehensive facial plastic surgery, including cosmetic surgery, trauma care, skin cancer reconstruction, facial nerve repair, rhinoplasty, and non-surgical rejuvenation. The UC Irvine Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship is one of the nation’s longest-running facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship programs with six community based adjunct faculty.
Faculty are expected to actively participate in the overall mission of the department, which includes providing excellent patient care, teaching fellows, residents, and students, performing organizational, university and public service, performing original research, and demonstrating professional competency and scholarly activity.

Qualifications
Candidates should have an MD or DO in the field of Otolaryngology.
